HISTORY OF RECHEL SEPTIC 
Dave Rechel has been installing and working on septic systems since 1977. He got his start with Robinson Septic installing new septic systems in the Barrington area. In 1983, Dave became co-owner of Ron's Septic in Barrington where they also focused on new installations, pumping and service in the greater Barrington area.

Then in 1991, Dave founded Rechel Septic Systems in McHenry, IL. The main focus of Rechel Septic Systems when we opened was new septic installation. New construction in our area was booming and we installed thousands of septics in the first 15 years of business. 

As the housing market began to slow down, we changed the focus of the company a bit, to include servicing and repairs. With all of those installs under our belt, we had a vast amount of knowledge of most all types of systems installed in our area. 

This allowed us to be very good at repairing them! In 2008 we decided to expand our services even further and purchased our first pumper truck. Soon after we bought a second pumper truck, in 2017 we built our third pump truck and 2020 brought us our 4th and 5th trucks! 

Now our fleet consists of five pump trucks and three service vans, and we also have 4 excavators, a bobcat and a dump truck for the installations and larger repairs. In 2017, Dave's son Kyle Rechel joined the team. 

Kyle has been around the septic business his whole life and was excited to join the family business and help to bring innovation and new technology to the business.
